- Ice dyeing is one of the easiest and most rewarding dyeing experiences there is, and the process is so simple: soak cotton fabric in a solution of soda ash, then wring it out and tie, fold or scrunch it up, then place it in a colander or bowl and cover it in ice or snow and then sprinkle dye over the ice.
- Allow the ice to melt overnight in a warm place and then rinse and wash 24-48 hours later.
